 This museum located on Bajirao Road houses a wide number of interesting artefacts. The museum is divided into 36 section and some of its highlights include carved palace and temple doors, exquisite works of pottery, traditional Indian lamps and 17th century paintings.
| Shaniwar Waada
 Built by the Peshawas in 1736, this once impressive palace was destroyed by a fire in 1827. The imposing brass studded gates and the lotus pools are all that?s left of this majestic structure, yet it is one of the biggest tourist attractions of the city. A Sound & Light Show is held every evening.
| Aga Khan Palace
 An important landmark of Pune, the Aga Khan Palace has its place in the history. During the peak of the Quit India Movement in 1942, Mahatma Gandhi and his wife Kasturba were placed under house arrest here. Architecturally, the palace features beautiful arches, salons, suites and lawns.
