By Air: Being the capital, Delhi is well connected to all major cities in India as well as several other locations around the world. Almost all the major airlines have their flights operating from the Indira Gandhi International Airport of New Delhi.
By Train: The railway network connects Delhi to the all major and, nearly, all the minor destinations in India. The three important railway stations of Delhi are the New Delhi Railway Station, the Old Delhi Railway Station and the Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station.
By Road: Delhi is connected to all the major cities in India by a network of roads and national highways. Government and private transport operators provide frequent bus services from Delhi?s three major bus terminuses ? at Kashmere Gate, Sarai Kale Khan and Anand Vihar. Government and private taxis are also available.

Red Fort in Delhi: The Symbol of India Built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan between 1638 and 1648, this grand and imposing fort is the site from where the Prime Minister of India addresses the nation on Independence Day. Visited regularly by tourists from all parts of the world, the fort?s architecture is a testimony to the opulence of the Mughal empire in India.
India Gate in New Delhi: A Tribute to Indian Soldiers Originally called the All India War Memorial, this 42 metre high, free standing arch, was designed by Sir Edwin Luytens and built in 1921 in memory of the 90,000 Soldiers of the Indian Army who died in World War I. The names of the soldiers are inscribed all along the walls of the arch. In 1971, an eternal flame was lit here in honour of the ?Amar Jawan? (immortal soldiers).
Chandni Chowk The symbol of Old Delhi, this rather congested area is one of the country?s best known wholesale markets for textiles, electronic goods and many other items. Originally designed by Emperor Shah Jahan?s favourite daughter Jahanara Begum, Chandni Chowk, at the time, was the seat of Delhi?s elite.
